My journey represents a unique intersection in the contemporary professional landscape: the synthesis of deep systems IT expertise and a strong artistic sensibility oriented toward visual communication and multimedia storytelling.
Far from being two separate domains, technology and art merge in my work, where the rigor of code and infrastructure management enable and amplify the narrative power of images, video, and audio.
Education and Research on Artificial Intelligence
The academic culmination of my dual identity materialized in earning a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Multimedia (Class L-20) from Universitas Mercatorum, completed with a grade of 107/110 in December 2024.
My degree thesis, titled "Audiovisual: An Investigation into the Use of AI", explores the cutting edge of digital innovation, analyzing how Artificial Intelligence is redefining production, editing, and narrative workflows in the audiovisual field—a topic that ideally connects computational logic with the creative languages of the future.

Pioneering Projects and Open Source Outreach
My commitment to free software culture and embedded computing is reflected in a series of independent projects realized over the years:
- BasLUG (2001): Founder of the Basilicata Linux User Group, a non-profit association created to spread open-source culture across the region by organizing conferences and install-fests.
- Basilinux (2001): Design of a mini Linux distribution contained on a single floppy disk with modular firewall, DHCP, and ADSL gateway functionality. During the same period, I experimented with building parallel computing clusters.
- Slack100 (2008): Engineering of an embedded mini Linux distribution designed to run entirely in RAM on x86 micro-systems with extremely low memory consumption (just 30 MB) and a remote auto-update system.
Territorial Storytelling and Communication Projects
In recent years, I put these technical skills at the service of storytelling and preserving historical memory and territory, giving life to portals and initiatives of high cultural impact:
- Un giro in Basilicata: A monumental four-year photographic and anthropological journey covering all 131 Lucanian municipalities, gathering over 150,000 shots to document the soul of places.
- Piccola Italia: A multimedia format for discovering Italian villages narrated through videos, texts, and interviews.
- Basilicata Mistero: A fascinating journey discovering Lucanian legends, folklore, and mysteries, enriched by the video series Arkana.
- ArteBasilicata.it: An aggregator portal bringing together events, artists, and art places of Basilicata into a single space.
- Fablex.it: An innovative portal of illustrated stories for children that speak to adults as well, launched by the multimedia story Celeste e Rosa.
