An electronic instrumental track inspired by dystopian cyberpunk atmospheres.

The cyberpunk genre, with its iconic dystopian settings dominated by perpetual acid rain, the fusion of hyper-advanced technology and social decay, and philosophical reflections on the boundaries of human identity, occupies a central place in my artistic and musical sensibility.
One of the ultimate contemporary expressions of this imagery is the soundtrack to Blade Runner 2049, Denis Villeneuve's visual masterpiece featuring music composed by Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch.
My instrumental track "Blackrain" was born as an intimate and minimal tribute to those soundscapes. It is the result of hundreds of hours dedicated to analytical listening and absorbing low frequencies, warm analog synthesizers, and infinite reverbs typical of the original soundtrack.
The melodies of Blackrain emerged within me spontaneously, almost like wild grass that manages to bloom tenaciously between cement cracks and the grime of forgotten urban corners. They represent the search for a glimmer of poetry within a cold, electronic scenario.
In the video accompanying the track, I wanted to merge personal and cinematic dimensions. The central image portrays a macro photograph of my left eye with its natural mark, over which evocative sequences from Villeneuve's film flow in transparency and overlay. A visual bridge symbolizing the very act of observing and allowing oneself to be traversed by images.
Blackrain is part of my sound experimentation, alongside the track Incubi di un re melodico and the reflection on analog sound contained in Non silenzio.
